I've been making art since I could hold a pen and draw on a piece of paper. I have explored various media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, and ceramics. Working with clay engages many different parts of my brain and is a slow and humbling practice. I love the dynamism between the predictable and unpredictable elements of ceramic work. In my ceramics practice, I explore form and subtle design and ornamentation, and I invoke playfulness and joy with bright colors.
